Dispatcher

About the role

The Dispatcher ensures the smooth operation of the dispatch function, monitors delivery performance, and supports the logistics team in meeting service targets. This role works closely with delivery drivers, planners and sales representatives to guarantee timely and efficient deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain smooth dispatch operations and collect delivery KPI data.
• Ensure orders are correctly transferred and update KPI reports with dispatched delivery information.
• Brief assigned delivery drivers on daily plans and review pending order reports with PSRs.
• Balance truck loads, perform rerouting when necessary, and manage customer routing using dynamic tools.
• Continuously improve routing processes and tools based on field feedback.
• Maintain asset levels in line with business needs and oversee cooler deployment when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 1 year experience in sales within an FMCG environment.
• People‑management experience.
• Strong numerical, planning and presentation abilities.
• Valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using routing software.
