About the role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead finance operations for our hospitality portfolio in Hurghada. The role combines hotel operations finance, construction finance, and strategic reporting to support the General Manager and owners.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and manage cash flow, revenues and operating expenses.
- Supervise accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, night audit, bank reconciliations and the full financial closing process.
- Develop and monitor hotel budgets, forecasts and departmental profitability (rooms, F&B, spa, events, etc.).
- Maintain internal controls, ensure tax compliance and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Provide KPI reports such as GOP, RevPAR, occupancy, ADR, food and labor cost ratios.
- Lead and train the accounting and finance team, and work closely with department heads on budget control.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
- Proven experience in hospitality accounting, including hotel operations and construction finance.
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems and financial reporting standards.
