About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to support regional programmes, primarily the EU Migrant Protection Return and Reintegration Programme and the Regional Development and Protection Programme for North Africa. Reporting to the Regional Director and the Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, you will ensure robust M&E systems and data quality across projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain standardized M&E frameworks, plans, tools, and quality‑assurance mechanisms.
- Utilise IOM’s Project Information and Management Application (PRIMA) and the Strategic Results Framework (SRF) for data collection and reporting.
- Consolidate M&E information to inform project progress and donor compliance.
- Support baseline assessments, mid‑term and final evaluations, including drafting Terms of Reference and coordinating evaluators.
- Assist project teams in preparing management responses to evaluation recommendations.
Required profile
- Relevant academic background in monitoring, evaluation, social sciences, or related fields.
- Experience working with international development programmes and donor reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with IOM’s Project Information and Management Application (PRIMA).
- Familiarity with the Strategic Results Framework (SRF).
