People and Culture Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a People and Culture Trainee to support our HR team in daily operations and administrative tasks. This role offers a hands‑on introduction to the full HR lifecycle, from recruitment to onboarding and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the People and Culture team with day‑to‑day HR operations and administrative duties.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HR information system.
• Support recruitment activities, including posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Help coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
• Organise employee engagement events and cultural initiatives.
• Assist with performance‑management documentation and processes.
• Support compliance with labour laws and internal policies.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and fluency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite).
