Procurement Supervisor – O&M Operations

About the role

The Procurement Supervisor will lead all procurement and logistics activities for the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) division, ensuring continuous availability of materials, equipment, and services needed for maintenance and repairs. This position demands a proactive leader who can balance strategic sourcing with rapid emergency procurement in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end procurement for spare parts, consumables, tools, and specialized maintenance services.
• Process purchase orders accurately, adhering to company policies.
• Manage high‑value, long‑lead‑time items critical to equipment uptime.
• Coordinate with maintenance planning to forecast material needs.
• Serve as primary contact for emergency procurement requests and maintain a 24/7 supplier network.
• Expedite critical orders, resolve supply chain disruptions, and minimize downtime.
• Source and qualify new vendors to improve pricing, lead times, and supply redundancy.
• Conduct market research for innovative products and alternative suppliers.
• Perform regular supplier performance reviews and monitor KPIs such as Emergency PO Cycle Time, PO Accuracy, and Cost Savings.

Required profile

• Master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience in O&M, facilities management, or industrial maintenance.
• Experience in the energy sector is a plus.
• Strong crisis management, negotiation, and communication abilities.
