Production Controller – 6‑Month Project (Food Manufacturing)

About the role

The Production Controller will oversee daily production operations for a six‑month project in a food manufacturing environment. Working with Odoo ERP, you will ensure accurate recording of manufacturing orders, inventory movements, and performance metrics, acting as the data hub between production, warehouse, and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and validate daily production data (receiving, delivering, material consumption, actual output) in Odoo.
• Create, update, and close Manufacturing Orders (MOs) and generate production IPC and inventory reports.
• Execute internal material transfers and perform monthly/daily inventory cut‑offs with physical counts.
• Monitor raw material and packaging inventory accuracy per shift.
• Review and verify Bill of Materials (BOMs) and ensure any changes are reflected in Odoo.
• Track and report daily production KPIs, including fulfillment, scrap, breakdowns, and estimated revenue loss.
• Coordinate production plans with the planning team and maintain proper documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in production control, reporting or manufacturing operations, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work across cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to work shift rotations (day/night).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Odoo ERP (or similar ERP systems).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
