Service Technician – Pump & Rotating Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to perform on‑site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of centrifugal pumps, valves and other rotating equipment. The role involves traveling to customer sites, disassembling and reassembling equipment, and ensuring proper alignment and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble single‑ and multistage centrifugal pumps, valves and rotating equipment.
• Evaluate component parts and perform precision measurements (shaft run‑out, bore, etc.) using micrometers, bore gauges, calipers and dial indicators.
• Remove and install equipment at customer locations, aligning electric motors with dial gauges or laser alignment tools.
• Commission new pump sets and conduct initial start‑up on‑site.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform root‑cause analysis and prepare detailed service reports and timesheets.
• Adhere to company health, safety, attendance and punctuality policies.

Required profile

• Technical background or vocational training in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Experience working on‑site with rotating equipment is preferred.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and work independently.
