Production Engineer

About the role

Greif, a global leader in performance packaging, is hiring a Production Engineer in Sadat City, Egypt. The role covers planning and controlling routine production schedules, managing material flows and supporting manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, plan and control routine production schedules.
• Ensure a controlled flow of approved materials according to material requirement analytics.
• Estimate and schedule the human resources, tools and equipment needed for basic routine production processes.
• Research and evaluate changes to production processes, systems, technology or equipment to improve production capabilities.
• Optimize manufacturing at site level and provide analytical support for manufacturing operation excellence.
• Manage basic operational issues to conclusion and adapt priorities quickly to changing demand.
• Generate and review production reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good interpersonal skills and good attention to detail.
• Analytical approach to complex problems and a solid foundation in research ability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite or similar software.
