Rooms Intern - Lifestyle Hotel

About the role

Portaluna, a Morgans Originals hotel on Egypt's North Coast, is looking for enthusiastic Rooms Interns. The internship lasts approximately 5-6 months, aligned with seasonal operations, and starts around April/May 2027. It suits hospitality students wanting hands-on experience in a lifestyle hotel, with exposure to Front Office, Guest Experience and daily hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and help create memorable arrival and departure experiences
• Support daily Front Office and Guest Experience operations, including check-ins, check-outs and guest enquiries
• Learn and apply Morgans Originals' service standards in every guest interaction
• Assist with guest requests, anticipate needs and deliver personalised service
• Develop knowledge of reservations, room categories, hotel facilities and guest service procedures
• Work with colleagues across Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments for a seamless guest experience
• Help handle guest feedback and resolve requests professionally
• Maintain high standards of presentation, organisation and attention to detail
• Take part in training and development during the internship

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism or a related field
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic or other languages are an advantage
• Positive attitude, curiosity and enthusiasm to learn
• Good organisational skills, attention to detail and flexibility to work different shifts according to seasonal operations
• Previous hospitality or Front Office experience is an advantage but not essential
