About the role
ABB is seeking a Service Sales Specialist to join its Motion business area in Cairo. The role focuses on driving service sales, expanding the installed‑base, and delivering the full ABB Motion service portfolio to industrial customers.
Key responsibilities
- Implement the service sales strategy, targeting installed‑base penetration and promoting upgrades, retrofits and value‑added solutions.
- Prepare sales plans, monitor market pricing, track performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate installed‑base data in ServIS and analyse customer assets to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop, negotiate and secure service agreements (maintenance contracts, LTSA, frame agreements) with key customers.
- Conduct Life Cycle Assessments with customers to uncover modernization and optimisation opportunities.
- Represent ABB at customer meetings, trade fairs, exhibitions and conferences to promote service offerings.
- Record all sales activities and customer updates in Salesforce and ensure compliance with ABB safety, quality and reliability standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in service sales, preferably within Egypt and North‑Africa markets.
- Strong knowledge of ABB Motion products such as drives, motors and generators.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
