Strategy Manager - Financial Services, Egypt

About the role

EY-Parthenon is hiring a Strategy Manager for its Financial Services practice in Egypt. The role works with EY-Parthenon partners and senior banking executives across the MENA region on growth, transformation and execution priorities, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery from boardroom strategy through implementation and value realization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagements and workstreams for priority MENA financial services clients, shaping growth strategies, commercial transformation and operating model improvements
• Develop go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation, value propositions, revenue growth plans, sales effectiveness programs and AI-enabled growth initiatives
• Drive operating model transformation, including redesigning operating models, improving cost and productivity, optimizing distribution and coverage and simplifying processes
• Advise on banking innovation such as open banking, embedded finance, Banking-as-a-Service, platform-based propositions, ecosystem strategies, digital transformation, AI adoption and supply chain finance
• Support project delivery: program mobilization, executive stakeholder management, steering committee engagement, implementation oversight, value realization tracking and mentoring junior team members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution; MBA or Master's degree is an advantage
• 5-8 years of experience in strategy consulting, banking, financial services, fintech or related transformation environments
• Experience delivering strategy, transformation, operating model, commercial excellence, digital, AI or growth engagements in banking
• Knowledge of one or more banking segments (Consumer Banking, Wealth Management, SME Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Transaction Banking, Payments, Treasury, Capital Markets)
• Ability to develop executive presentations, run rigorous analyses and communicate recommendations
• Arabic is an advantage; willingness to travel across the MENA region

• Effective communication and stakeholder management, including with senior executives
• Experience leading workstreams in fast-paced environments and turning strategy into measurable outcomes
