System Administrator

About the role

The IT System Administrator will manage, maintain, and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role involves overseeing both Windows and Linux servers, handling backups, and collaborating on IT projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resources.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and file servers.
• Apply software patches, updates, and system upgrades.
• Maintain backups and assist in disaster recovery procedures.
• Support virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V, VMware) and cloud services.
• Collaborate with network and cybersecurity teams on IT projects.
• Explore and implement new technologies to improve the infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in server administration.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail, proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Customer‑focused mindset for end‑user support.
