Corporate Controller

About the role

Reporting directly to the CFO in Egypt, the Corporate Controller will act as a strategic partner, driving financial planning, compliance and cash management across L’Oréal’s divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build budgets and forecasts aligned with zone calendars, analyse sales drivers and provide actionable recommendations using i‑closing and L’Oréal GPT.
• Ensure compliance with Group accounting standards and P&L norms, overseeing financial control and reporting systems.
• Manage cash‑flow positions and working‑capital variances, supporting commercial finance and sales distribution agreements.
• Lead month‑end and quarter‑end closing activities, guaranteeing accurate and timely financial statements.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive data‑driven decision making and improve financial processes.

Required profile

• Energetic, detail‑oriented professional with strong work ethic and collaborative mindset.
• Proven experience in financial controlling within a multinational environment, retail experience a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, able to communicate complex financial information clearly.

Required skills

• Expert user of SAP.
• Proficient with reporting tools Magnitude and Compass.
• Experience with i‑closing platform.
• Familiarity with L’Oréal GPT for data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of financial controlling principles.
