Owner Representative – SouthMED

About the role

The Owner Representative will act as the highest authority on large‑scale real‑estate projects, championing the owner’s vision and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives throughout all phases.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the strategic direction of projects in partnership with executive leadership.
• Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set project goals, scope, schedule, and cost controls.
• Oversee day‑to‑day construction management, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed.
• Manage procurement, contracts, and relationships with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Negotiate contracts, optimize costs, and maintain quality standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience on large‑scale real‑estate or construction projects.
• Proven experience as an Owner’s Representative or senior leadership role.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• PMP or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.
