Senior Project Manager – Contract Management & Compliance

About the role

The University seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead contract administration, claims management, and compliance for major capital programmes such as the Campus 2026 Expansion. Reporting to the Vice President and General Counsel, you will shape university‑wide contract lifecycle processes and mitigate contractual risk.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee contractor and consultant claims, variation orders, extensions of time, and contractual submissions for large construction projects.
• Design and implement a comprehensive contract lifecycle management (CLM) framework covering initiation, review, approval, execution, renewal and close‑out.
• Develop, maintain, and update contracting policies, procedures, governance documents and risk‑assessment tools.
• Provide expert guidance to university departments on contractual obligations, risk mitigation and dispute resolution.
• Create and deliver training programs, templates and guidance materials to build contract administration capability across the institution.
• Prepare periodic reports on contractual obligations, financial exposure and claim status for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, engineering, construction management, business administration or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of experience in contract administration, preferably under the FIDIC scheme, with a strong background in major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience developing policies, procedures and governance frameworks for contract management.
