Specification Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Specification Engineer to lead technical efforts for Prokem’s projects in Alexandria and surrounding areas. The role focuses on driving product specification and adoption with consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring our construction‑chemical solutions are correctly integrated from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Prokem’s products to consultants, architects, developers and contractors.
• Secure product specifications in new and ongoing construction projects.
• Deliver technical presentations, seminars and product demonstrations.
• Prepare technical submittals and method statements.
• Provide technical support to the sales team throughout project execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants and key project stakeholders.
• Monitor project opportunities, market trends and competitor activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction chemicals, specification engineering or technical sales.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Owns a private car.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems.
• Experience with flooring solutions, repair products, protective coatings, sealants and concrete admixtures.
• Familiarity with AI tools and productivity platforms.
