Delta Field Sales Manager

About the role

The Delta Field Sales Manager leads, motivates and sets the strategic direction for Delta across Impulse, Wholesale and New Business channels, covering all categories (Chocolate, Wrigley, Pet Food & Gum, Salty snacks, Cereals) in field sales. The role is based in Delta and requires strong standing-alone capability with no mobility issues. It works closely with key stakeholders to build field sales capability, execute the field sales strategy and deliver quality displays that support business and category growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead short- and long-term strategies for assigned channels and regions to optimise points of distribution, ROI and location quality.
• Contribute to the annual NSV growth plan and turn it into store-by-store targets and measures.
• Create a field sales coverage model based on strategic insights such as customer influence, strategic importance and cost-to-serve analysis, with efficient route planning.
• Partner with Category and Perfect Store teams to define success ambitions, monitor compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Improve visibility, physical availability and conversion through call offers, selling tools, displays, store data and brand blocking.
• Drive the customer agenda, build strong relationships with key customers and partner with the Customer Development team to bring the customer's voice into future plans.
• Recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team, build a talent pipeline and motivate the field sales team.

Required profile

• Graduate level, with at least 4 years of sales experience.
• Experience in a blue-chip FMCG or consumer products company, with strong leadership and field sales experience.
• Sales, customer and leadership experience, with the ability to work through others in a resourceful and inspiring way.
