Memory Systems Engineer – AI Memory Layer

About the role

We are seeking a Memory Systems Engineer to own the memory layer of an AI system. You will design how information is stored, structured, retrieved, and reconciled when new data conflicts with existing records.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a knowledge store, event log, or RAG pipeline that tracks what the system knows and when it learned it.
• Preserve events, track provenance, resolve contradictions, and ensure honest context retrieval under real‑world conditions.
• Define storage schemas, retrieval strategies, and conflict‑resolution policies for AI memory.
• Collaborate with AI infrastructure and backend teams to integrate the memory layer into production systems.

Required profile

• Graduates in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT from any university.
• Engineers with experience in backend systems, AI infrastructure, or data pipelines.
• Strong GitHub hygiene – a clear commit history that demonstrates your work.
• Willingness to work from or be open to opportunities in Egypt.
