About the role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Personal Lead to strategically supervise and motivate a high‑volume payroll team. The successful candidate will ensure payroll deadlines are met, maintain compliance, and continuously improve processes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a payroll team of X members, overseeing daily operations.
- Maintain personal payroll deadlines and ensure accurate processing.
- Review and sign off on workloads of team members.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated payroll queries.
- Monitor, review, and implement new processes to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Ensure service levels are met while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
- Guarantee payroll compliance and resolve discrepancies.
- Balance payroll accounts and address any payroll variances.
Required profile
- 7 to 9 years of experience in payroll management.
- Proven ability to mentor, motivate, and lead a payroll team.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and proactive attitude.
- Specialist knowledge of all aspects of payroll functions.
- CIPP certification preferred but not essential.
