Electrical Engineer – Premises Projects

About the role

The Electrical Engineer (Premises) will oversee electromechanical tasks throughout the lifecycle of bank branch projects, from design and procurement to commissioning and warranty hand‑over. The role requires regular site inspections, coordination with contractors, and ensuring compliance with project timelines and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and close out electromechanical tasks for assigned projects.
• Attend commissioning committees and verify project deliverables against specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to assess progress and compliance with schedules.
• Issue award letters to contractors and coordinate material orders for long‑lead items supplied by the bank.
• Ensure contractor adherence to SOPs, bank Code of Conduct, safety rules, and appearance standards.
• Secure and manage bank assets within the project jurisdiction.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance department to preview projects until warranty expiry.
• Review check‑lists during commissioning to identify any deviations from specifications.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to technicians, fostering a productive work environment.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience ranging from junior (0‑2 years) to senior (5+ years) levels.
• Ability to lead technical teams and manage project documentation.
