HR Generalist – Employee Relations & Projects

About the role

TaskUs is seeking an HR Generalist to join its Cairo team. In this role you will support employee relations, handle HR legal matters, and drive special HR projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to employee inquiries and other teams on HR legal matters.
• Develop, review, and update company policies to maintain legal compliance.
• Collaborate with the legal team to address HR legal issues and support ongoing projects.
• Collect and analyze HR data to recommend actionable solutions.
• Identify performance gaps and propose improvements for managers and employees.
• Lead special projects, setting timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering results.
• Prepare reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing HR trends and data.
• Maintain awareness of existing and new legislation, advising management on required actions.
• Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR, preferably with exposure to employee relations and HR legal matters.
• Strong knowledge of local labor legislation and compliance requirements.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and recommend solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees, managers, and legal partners.
