IMS Engineer – Enterprise Datacenter Infrastructure

About the role

Capgemini is looking for an experienced IMS Engineer to support enterprise datacenter infrastructure operations, focusing on storage, SAN and networking technologies. The role ensures high‑availability environments through administration, monitoring and troubleshooting of critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support IBM SVC, Brocade SAN and Dell Storage systems (PowerMax, Unity, PowerStore, Compellent).
• Manage datacenter infrastructure performance, stability and availability.
• Perform storage provisioning, zoning, capacity management and troubleshooting.
• Support networking activities within the datacenter, including switching and connectivity.
• Follow ITIL/ITSM processes for incident, change and problem management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain operational excellence and service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in enterprise datacenter environments.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience with IBM SVC storage virtualization.
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Brocade SAN switches.
• Proven experience with Dell EMC storage platforms.
• Understanding of ITIL/ITSM methodologies and high‑availability operations.
