Infra BIM Engineer – Civil (French Speakers)

About the role

The Infra BIM Engineer will create civil engineering designs, drawings and 3D models for infrastructure and industrial projects. Working closely with civil engineers, you will ensure that grading, drainage, underground services and roadway designs meet all applicable standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads or OpenRoads.
• Generate existing ground surfaces and sub‑surfaces from survey data.
• Perform site grading, drainage systems, earthwork modelling and quantity take‑offs.
• Develop underground services and utility plans.
• Review sketches, specifications and engineering data to confirm design conformity.
• Implement alignments, profiles and cross‑sections for sites and roadways.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and support related project tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering design and drafting experience.
• Proven experience in 2D/3D design for site grading, earthworks, drainage, utilities and roadways.
• Experience in mining industrial plants is a plus; hydrology knowledge is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French (mandatory).
• Ability to read maps, survey information and maintain confidentiality of project data.
