Lead Technical Architect

About the role

Azizi is seeking a Lead Technical Architect to join its Design Studio in Cairo. The role reports to the Head of Design Studio and involves overseeing the coordination and verification of all design disciplines for large‑scale architectural projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review, coordinate and verify design drawings across all disciplines, ensuring issues are resolved within set timelines.
• Ensure detailed drawings comply with design standards, authority requirements, specifications and BoQ.
• Handle technical inquiries (RFIs) throughout the project lifecycle, from design to handover.
• Review BIM models, identify and resolve clashes between disciplines.
• Prepare and advise on required technical details to support the design team.
• Lead a team of approximately 12 reviewers.
• Stay updated on construction industry developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or Architecture.
• 10–15 years of experience in large‑scale, complex architectural projects.
• Proven experience in construction project coordination and detailed drawing management.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, specifications and BoQ review.
• Ability to guide and mentor a small review team.
