Overhead Catenary System Installation and Construction Manager

About the role

Siemens Mobility Egypt is seeking an experienced Overhead Catenary System (OCS) Installation and Construction Manager to lead on‑site activities for Egypt’s first high‑speed rail project. You will be responsible for delivering OCS works safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards while coordinating a large multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on‑site OCS installation and construction activities in line with design, safety, quality and schedule requirements.
• Plan, supervise and monitor daily site operations, ensuring accurate implementation of drawings and specifications.
• Allocate resources, manage installation teams and oversee subcontractor performance to meet productivity and safety targets.
• Ensure compliance with SHE policies through regular inspections and safe work practices.
• Coordinate logistics and material flow to guarantee timely availability of OCS components.
• Implement and monitor quality control across installation, warehouses and the 2nd Assembly Center, resolving non‑conformities.
• Report progress, risks and performance updates to the OCS Project Manager and liaise with design and interfacing disciplines.
• Manage site readiness and handover of completed OCS sections, including documentation and testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Overhead Catenary Systems and railway construction practices.
• Hands‑on experience in OCS installation within railway or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in site supervision, subcontractor management and logistics coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain quality control processes.
