Site Civil Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Site Civil Engineer to join The United Engineers in Egypt. The role involves overseeing construction activities on multiple sites, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day construction activities across several project sites.
• Verify that work execution matches drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and subcontractors to keep workflow efficient.
• Review shop drawings and monitor their implementation on site.
• Track progress and prepare daily and weekly reports.
• Manage manpower, materials and equipment effectively.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Resolve technical issues and provide practical on‑site solutions.
• Conduct inspections and guarantee timely project delivery.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of hands‑on experience as a civil engineer on construction sites in Egypt.
• Proven ability to manage site operations and supervise execution teams.
• Strong coordination skills with consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Experience preparing progress reports and handling site documentation.
• Knowledge of quality and safety standards in construction.
