Site Engineer – Mechanical & Electrical

About the role

We are looking for a Site Engineer specialized in Mechanical and Electrical works to manage daily site activities, supervise labour and subcontractors, and ensure project progress aligns with schedule and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the site labour force and subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Evaluate productivity rates for each trade and adjust resources accordingly.
• Analyse zone drawings to prepare material, equipment, and man‑hour requirements based on project priorities.
• Report issues to the Site Manager and coordinate corrective actions.
• Allocate material and manpower to achieve efficient job performance.
• Coordinate inspections and tests with the Quality Control Department and implement corrective measures when needed.
• Collaborate with other trades to maintain workflow and resolve related problems.
• Organise plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
• Prepare daily progress reports for senior site engineers.
• Implement shop drawings on site and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Work with the survey department to verify levelling and location processes.
• Obtain material samples for required testing.

Required profile

• 0 to 4 years of experience in site engineering or related construction roles.
• Ability to supervise subcontractor teams and manage on‑site personnel.
• Strong organisational skills to plan material, equipment, and manpower.
• Good communication skills for reporting to site management and coordinating with various departments.
